Cream Perfume Company - Eco Conscious Perfume

Have you ever walked outside and the air had the scent of another day, another place in time? That is because scent and memory are closely linked together. For this reason I am quite fond of perfumes. Someone had said to me once when I found myself in a perfume store that I had to find my scent. The scent of a memory, the essence of me that lingers. I never really liked the heavy sprays, preferring essential oils and I had never known there were creams. Then I was shown The Cream Perfume Company by a friend and was instantly in love with the idea.

The first thing that set The Cream Perfume Company apart from all other companies was the packaging. Each Cream Perfume is contained within a beautiful wooden pot and was eco-consciously produced from residual Canadian Birch. I had found it intriguing to learn that the perfumes themselves are not diluted with ethanol and instead incorporate natural carriers such as beeswax and sweet almond oil which was the original practice for thousands of years! They were beautiful, natural and eco-friendly and the scents. ah the scents! They were soft, sensual, floral and clean.

I had reviewed two Cream Perfumes, Mimosa and Ylang-Ylang and a Sandalwood Body Lotion from their Spa Line. The Mimosa smelled of the sun and spring but Ylang-Ylang of carried the aroma of night, a bonfire and love. At first I thought the Ylang-Ylang would be too strong but was surprised to find that when used it was quite soft and it grew on me to the point of being my favorite scent. The Sandalwood Body Lotion left the scent of my husband right after a shower. If clean were a scent it would be Sandalwood, not a manly scent... just clean and lovely. I discovered that it also combats dehydrated, sore, inflamed and damaged skin as well as improves elasticity and helps activate the national regeneration of dermal tissue to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Wow. This is above and beyond just a lotion, it was heaven.

The extensive list of scents available make this the perfect gift for any woman, especially those that are sensitive to the harsh chemicals of other perfumes and scented body products. My new scents lasted as the day waned on and longer than any other perfume I have had. It also helps that the wooden pots that they are contained within do not break or shatter like glass perfume bottles since I have a 2 1/2 year old that has discovered the bathroom cabinets.
