Smith Micro Software Review & Giveaway! {CLOSED}

I've been around animation for years. Some of my friends have created commercials, games and videos for some very popular games and many animations on the web that many of you have seen and probably aren't aware of. I've sat for hours watching them create works of art while generally supplying pizza and mountain dew. It takes time and a lot of trial and error but in the end what they've created is amazing and I decided to review Smith Micro Software in order to tap into this skill that they've always seemed to have naturally! I planned on creating a cartoon before this review was due, but that didn't work out. I'm still working on it and when I am finished I will share it! I'm using Anime Studio Debut 8 and I really do love playing with the animation creator!

I found a great tutorial of Anime Studio 8 Debut from Content Paradise who does a lot of tutorials for Smith Micro Software.







However, all of Smith Micro Software comes with Tutorials to walk you through the steps. This is just a way of showing you the steps in order to showcase what's available a little easier. 

The Second Smith Micro Software Product I decided to test out was Poser 8 where you can customize your own 3D figurines, animate for the web, print and video! It already includes Over 2.5GB of Ready-to-Use Content! 

This has been my favorite Smith Micro Software because of the options and ability to create such lifelike 3D animations. You can even create yourself if you took the time! Or all of your family and then animate them, that would amusing! I was making my husband when I snapped the photo. You can showcase your work of art on their Poser 3D Art Gallery, here is a photo that I absolutely loved. I hope I can get this good!

Smith Micro Studio shared with us a few other animation creators to give away to one of you! Anime Studio Pro 8 and Manga Studio! The first is the Pro version of the Anime creator that I'm working with for my cartoon and the second software helps you create professional quality comics, manga and illustrations! I don't know any child that wouldn't love the chance to make their own comic books. 

There are Free 30-Day Trial downloads so that you can see which animation/creator best fits you and/or your family/friends! This way you don't purchase one that will confuse you. Animation does take time to create, but in the end you are rewarded with a great sense of accomplishment. There are many places on the web and on Smith Micro Software's website that you can share your work and get feedback! And who knows... maybe you have an up and coming illustrator or animator in your home!
