Founded in 1946, Uncle Milton creates, produces and markets proprietary and licensed toys that have outstanding play value and maximum kid-appeal. Since its introduction in 1956, the Ant Farm® brand ant habitat has grown to become a universally recognized icon of American pop culture. Building on the quality and innovation of their flagship brand, Uncle Milton today leads the science category with popular brands including Star Wars™ Science, Jim Henson’s DINOSAUR TRAIN™, In My Room, and Explore It!, composed of award-winning toys that inspire wonder, learning and fun.
In the spring of 2012, the company will launch a new line of National Geographic branded Outdoor Explorer toys. Uncle Milton, a Transom Capital Group company, distributes its lines of toys at fine specialty toy, hobby, gift, mass merchant and department stores nationwide, as well as through popular online retailers.

Uncle Milton's 3D Star Theater is amazing. My youngest son Judah's bedroom is speckled with glow-in-the-dark stars and he loves the solar system, we actually have Uncle Miltons Solar System In My Room hanging above his bed.

That's also an incredible toy! The Planets actually revolve around the Sun that lights up like a night light. It comes with a controller so you can turn it off and on, but it also will automatically turn off after 20 minutes.

Anyways, the 3D Star Theater projects Stars, Planets and Constellations on the wall in 3D! It comes with the 3D Glasses as well. The Orb that projects the Stars, Planets and Constellations works on a dial, so you have to change which projection you want to look at. This is actually a good thing because if it was constantly moving it would be really hard to grasp the depth of how amazing the images are. Plus the Constellations are named in the projection so you can tell which is which, if it was moving you wouldn't be able to see them! So I really enjoy the fact that it is slides. Also, because at night you can lay underneath a beautiful galaxy and fall asleep.

Sometimes Cody, Judah and I wander off into his room and stare off into the Galaxy. We try to point out the Constellations or pretend we're on some distant planet. It's a lot a fun and it's pretty special since my two sons are in very different degrees of age and yet it was something they could share together. I would tell them the story about how NASA and I used to write back and forth for 10 years and all the beautiful images I lost, some of which looked a lot like Uncle Milton's 3D Star Theater projections. It brought back memories, it gave us something special and it's incredibly beautiful.
